ROLES AND PRINCIPLES IN SOCIETAL ADVANCEMENT


Principles are natural laws which governs outcomes in the human and social dimension as predictably as the laws of natural science govern natural laws.

Values are the ideals, customs, etcofasocirty toward which the people of the group have an effective regard. These values maybe positive as cleanliness, freedom or education or negative as cruelty, crime or blasphemy; (Mr. Stephen Omojuyigbe – Director GHF)

IMPORTANT POINTS TO NOTE:
·         People and Nation rise and fall on their values. There is always a way things work. Ask yourself "how does things work best for you". What work out well for Mr. A might not work out for you being Mr.B.
·         You don’t see value, they aren't possessions. Critical thing that can change lives and nation is to adopt critical values.
·         Every single time a society has made progress, it has been the result of the alignment of their collective will with their certain principles. Also, any single time a society has degenerated, it has being as a result of the misalignment of the collective will from certain principles.
·         We can now see the clarity of: The values that shaped western civilizations VS Some African Values. Rationalism which created science & technology VS Superstitions which impoverished people.

HOW TO IMBIBE VALUES
·         Every vision is created by certain values. Ask yourself “what is the value that will drive you to your dreamed success?”
·         Act according to your values every time at the step.
·         Keep your values even in face of challenges.
·         Prepare for unseen challenges. When preparation has overcome challenges, success is inevitable.
·         Always submit yourself to learn more and develop your values.

CONCLUSION:
·         Actions are not built by wishes nor empty desires but by the subscription of certain values and principles. It’s also more important.
·         To note that Values are more vital in societal development & advancement in Youth Development.

It was a very cold night that could command confession from an offender without threats. How I wish my house heater could even be a servitor to my liege lord this moment. I am wrapped with my foamy blanket feeling so cold without a cup of coffee. I was congested with thoughts on how my life would be in some years to come.
